Curing by UV light
UV adhesives are one component adhesives that cure by beaming UV light onto the adhesive. This requires 1 material to be clear/transparent so that the light can illuminate the adhesive. UV adhesives are widely used in the sign and display world. Typical materials are glass, polycarbonate and acrylic which are bonded with them.
