Crestabond M1-05 is a strong, flexible 2-component MMA adhesive for bonding composites, thermoplastics and metals. This structural methacrylate adhesive has a 10:1 mixing ratio and a working time of approximately 4 to 7 minutes.
The adhesive is suitable for applications where strength, speed and reliability are important. Crestabond M1-05 bonds to many materials without a primer, is non-sagging and can therefore also be used on vertical surfaces. Thanks to its gap-filling capacity of 1 to 15 mm, the adhesive is also suitable for joints where parts do not fit together perfectly.
Crestabond M1-05 is used for structural bonding in applications such as assembly, production, construction, composite processing, vehicle bodywork and technical repairs. The adhesive is suitable for materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, composites and many plastics.

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from oil, grease, dust and loose particles. Use the correct mixing nozzle, apply enough adhesive to fill the bond line properly and position the parts within the working time. Clamp or fix the parts during curing to prevent movement in the bond.
For best results, apply Crestabond M1-05 at a temperature between 18 and 25 °C.
