Permabond MH196 is an anaerobic material designed for making "in situ formed" gaskets between metal surfaces. It can replace a wide range of conventional gaskets, offering the ability to reduce inventories. By allowing surface-to-surface contact, force transmission can be improved. Because the product does not shrink, creep or relax after curing, bolts do not need to be re-tightened. It has excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures up to 200°C.
