Anaerobic adhesives are one-component adhesives that cure by contact with metal and exclusion of oxygen. Both ferrous and non-ferrous metals are suitable. Typical applications include sealing threads, securing bolts and nuts, securing bearings in a housing and flat flange gasketing.
